Abstract: Erosion wear is one of the wear styles in modern industry .Ceramics with some special characteristics, are widely used in the erosion enviroment .The factors that effect the erosion behavior of ceramics such as environment parameter( impact angle,velocity , time, temperature) , characteristics of erodent ( hardness, size and shape of particles) and characteristics of target material ( hardness, fracture toughness and microstructure) are discussed in this paper .
