Synthesis of Cordierite Ceramics Using Kaolin and Magnesium Hyaroxide

Abstract: The high performance cordierite ceramics have been synthetized at an atmosphere in1350℃～1400℃ by using kaolin and magnesium hydroxide‚its coefficent of thermal expansion is 1.52×10－6／℃．Its bulk density is 2.46g／cm3‚the firing range is 40℃．
