Study on Kinetics of Initial Sintering Period of MgO -SiC Composites

Abstract: The kinetics relationship of the initial sintering period of MgO -SiC composites has been studied .The results show that the sintering mechanism of the composites complies with bulk diffusion process .The effect of SiC on sintering characteristic of MgO material has been elaborated and the intering activation energies of the composites have been given .
