Abstract: The SiC slurry was spray-dried by spray drying technique with de-ioned water as liquid media.The effect of SiC slurry solid content and spray drying technique on the character of spray pelletization powders was inves tigated.The results show that the effect of slurry solid content and spray drying technique on the powders granularity dis tribution are obvious.The powders granularity increases with the increase of solid content. At the optimal spray drying technique, SiC powders can be obtained with high flow characteristics,high dens ity of green body and increases mechanical properties of the silicon carbide ceramics .
