The Stress Intensity Factor of a Mode- Ⅲ Interface Edge Crack Between Two Different Piezoelectric Materials

Abstract: The electromechanical fields of two dissimilar piezoelectric materials containing an interface edge crack under antiplane mechanical loads and in-plane electrical loads are analyzed. A general solution and the s tress intens ity factor are obtained in term of series expansion. The unknown cons tants are determined by boundary collocation method. Numeral results show that, under shear loading conditions,the s tres s intens ity factor is independent of applied electric displacement and electric field.
