Abstract: Al2O3/SiC ceramic nano- compos ites were obtained by mixing SiC into Al2O3.mechanical properties and wear res is tance of the Al2O3/SiC nano-compos ites was enhanced. The proces s of mixing and forming and s intering has great influence on its properties.The bas ic routes of proces s ing and s intering for Al2O3/SiC nano-compos ites were presented in detail.
