Research on Stability of Alumina Ultrafine Powders in Nonaqueous Media

Abstract: The fundamental aspects related to the stability of ultrafine powders in nonaqueous media were discussed.Taking the stability of alumina slip for tape－casting as an example‚the effect of solvent‚dispersant and trace amounts of water on the system was discussed.Some important solvents and dispersants for tape－casting processing were also introduced.
