Abstract:(Na0.82K0.18)0.5Bi0.5TiO3 (NKBT) powders were prepared by the hydrothermal method, using NaNO3, KNO3, Bi(NO3)3·5H2O and Ti (OC4H9)4 as raw materials, and NaOH as a mineralizer. The effects of the reaction temperature, the reaction time and the NaOH concentration on the precipitation of the NKBT powders were investigated. The prepared NKBT powders were characterized by XRD and SEM. The results show that morphology of the NKBT powders can be controlled by adjusting the hydrothermal reaction conditions. The NKBT ceramics with high density can be fabricated from the NKBT powders by a conventional sintering process.
