Abstract: (Ni0.16Cu0.2Zn0.64O)1.02 (Fe2O3)0.98 ferrite was prepared by traditional ceramic process . The effects of mixed MoO3 - V2O5 additives on the sintering behaviors and magnetic properties of NiCuZn ferrites were investigated. It was found that appropriate addition of mixed MoO3- V2O5 could promote densification of NiCuZn ferrites , improve their initial permeability and reduce their power loss . The initial permeability over 800 was achieved for the sample doped with 0.15wt% MoO3 and 0.15wt% V2O5 and sintered at 930℃. It exhibited relatively higher sintered density (5.12g/cm3) and lower power loss (305kw/m3) than the NiCuZn ferrite sample doped with MoO3 alone.
Key words: NiCuZn ferrite, mixed MoO3- V2O5 addition, initial permeability, lows intering temperature
