Abstract: The powders of Ca3Co2O6 thermoelectric materials were prepared by the method of sol-gel. It is viable to improve the thermoelectric properties of this system by modulation the sintered temperatures and time, and introducing some elements by common pressure sintering. The samples of thermoelectric materials were analyzed by XRD and SEM. The results show that appropriate dopant proportion can improve the thermoelectric properties of materials, controlling the sizes of Ca3Co2O6 crystalloids and sintering temperatures at 900℃ can attain the preferable thermoelectric properties.
