Abstract: Yue Kilns were one of the earliest kilns for firing celadon wares in Chinese history. They precipitously declined not only for their own reasons, but also for the influence from the outside. This paper is to explore the reasons of their decline from the inside and the outside to disclose the historical truth behind it and to provide some reference for contemporary ceramic communities.
