A Review of the Evolution of Sports from the Ceramic Art Perspective

Abstract: The large number of ancient ceramic works keeps a descriptive record of the sport activities. The interaction between ceramic arts and sports has promoted mutual benefits. The development of Chinese traditional sports was hampered after Yuan Dynasty, while the ceramic arts obtained their final glory in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. In modern times, ceramics and sports collaborate with one another for a joint development.
