Abstract: Ceramic is a great invention in ancient china. ceramic industry of china had been leading the world more than two thousand years, Why did the ceramic industry gradually decline in the late qing and early years of the republic of China? This article has carried on the thorough analysis from three aspects ,first, equipment, efficiency, scientific research, school education and talent cultivation, second, the oppression of imperialism, feudalism ,the third Conservatives in the Chinese handmade porcelain, stick to Chen, not improvement.
