Abstract: Among multiple design schemes of multi-degrees-of-freedom planetary gear train (MDOFPGT), the isomorphism scheme should be excluded. Considering the complication of the topological graph on the MDOFPGT, a set of parameters which weight the vertices of topological graph are introduced to illustrate the basic components of the planetary gear train (PGT), and the connections of these basic components are represented by another set of parameters which can be seen as the edges of the topological graph. Thus the MDOFPGT is transferred into weighted undirected graph which can convey the whole information of it. Finally the isomorphic design of MDOFPGT was identified through dynamic modification method of adjacent matrix, and the example of isomorphism identification shows the availability of MDOFPGT topology expression in excluding the isomorphism scheme.
