Abstract: The bending, static pressure and impact tests of silica ceramic radome were carried out. The bending strength of the material under different loading speeds, the static pressure on the bend under three kinds of stress and the impact strength of three surface types were tested. The fracture morphology of the specimen was analyzed by scanning electron microscope and stereoscopic microscope. It is found that under the condition of high speed impact load the bending fracture is the main damage form, and the material fracture under bending load is characterized by the extension of a single crack and the damage caused by fracture under impact load is a typical feature.
