Abstract: Based on pinch point technology, the actual heat exchange network system of a building ceramic factory was analyzed. The energy utilization of the existing heat exchange network was evaluated. The energy released due to the fuel combustion of the rolling kiln was heat exchanged with the blank body, with the actual utility project to 6.94×106 kJ/h. After the hot flue gas in the spray drying tower system was heated by the mud injected through the spray, the actual utility project was 2.36×106 kJ/h. The optimization scheme was proposed. When the hot flue gas from the outlet of the drying kiln was used to heat the mud, whereas the mud was preheated to 80 °C before entering the spray drying tower, the natural gas quantity per hour could be saved by 25.08 m3, with an energy saving efficiency of 3.0%.
