Abstract: Using 8YSZ powder and PMMA pore former as the raw materials, porous YSZ film and YSZ electrolyte film were prepared respectively by aqueous tape casting and organic tape casting. The porous YSZ-YSZ film composite was prepared via the stacked co-firing of the porous YSZ film and YSZ electrolyte film. The influences of the amount of the PMMA and the particle size of the YSZ on the co-firing characteristic of the composite were investigated. The results show, by co-firing the composite at 1530 ℃ for 2 h, flat and high density YSZ film composite matrix was obtained. By using the Tosoh YSZ powder for preparing YSZ electrolyte film and ball milling Jiujiang YSZ for preparing porous YSZ film, the porosity of the porous YSZ layer was 45vol. %. The content of PMMA in porous YSZ film was 80wt. % and the content of YSZ was 20wt. %. Jiujiang YSZ powders were used to prepare YSZ electrolyte film and porous YSZ film, which were then cofired at 1600 ℃ for 6h to produce YSZ film composite with smooth, uniform structure, high porosity and high density. The content of PMMA in porous YSZ film was 80wt. % and the content of YSZ was 20wt. %. Using 3.1mol/L aqueous solution of nickel nitrate as the impregnating solution to impregnate the composite matrix of porous YSZ layer co-fired at 1530 ℃. The SOFC single cell with impregnated anode was prepared by drying and calcination. The maximum power density of the as-prepared single cell in hydrogen at 750 ℃ was 0.58 W/cm2. Its corresponding ohm resistance was 0.42 Ω·cm2 and its polarization resistance was 0.6 Ω·cm2.
