Abstract: SrBi2Nb2O9 nanopowders were prepared by hydrothermal method using Sr(NO3)2, Bi(NO3)3·5H2O and Nb2O5 as raw materials,and NaOH as a mineralizer. The influence of the reaction temperature, reaction time and mineralizer concentration on the crystal phase and microstructure of the powders were studied by X-ray diffraction (XRD) and scanning electron microscopy (SEM). The results showed that the pure phase flake-like SrBi2Nb2O9 powder with the minimum thickness of about 10nm could be obtained by reaction at 220 ℃ for 16 h with 4 mol/l NaOH.
